Greetings and welcome to all our new members that have come on board this past month. This year marks the Crocs 20th Anniversary and it’s fantastic to be involved with a club that is dynamic, fun and seeing such positive growth!
The Cairns Crocs Committee would like to extend an invitation for you to come and join us this Sunday (9 February 3pm – 5pm) at the Yorkeys Knob Boat Club for the 2014 Race Season launch. It’s a fun, casual get-together and a fabulous opportunity to meet other Cairns Croc members; bring along friends who may be interested in getting into triathlon and becoming a member, meet the newly elected committee members and hear about what we have in store for you this year! Delicious finger foods will be available and a complimentary drink upon arrival will be on offer for all Crocs Members and new members that join up on the day.

Do you know someone that is thinking about joining the Cairns Crocs Triathlon Club? Why not bring them along to the social gathering on Sunday.
Not a Cairns Crocs member? New to the Cairns region and don’t know anyone in the triathlon community, but want to get involved? Have children that would like to get into the sport? This is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with others already participating in the club’s activities.
We are happy to announce that all new members will receive a 50% membership discount on the remainder of the membership year (July 2013-June 2014). Please go the the Membership page for details.
If you registered early to become a Crocs member last year you would know that you were eligible for a Crocs running top. These have been stored at Pump & Pedals for your collection, however if you have yet to collect your running top then we will have them with us on Sunday.
Our first event for the year, the Yorkeys Knob Duathon, is only 2 weeks away. Online registration will open on Monday 10th February.
Let’s make 2014 all about fun, social & sporting events for not only the serious triathlete, but those in it for a bit of social fun and exercise and of course the families and their super speedy younguns – our Kona champions of the future! 😎
